Job Details Nu-Vue Exteriors Ltd. is looking for a permanent, full-time Construction Worker. There is 1 position available. Work is performed at residential job sites in Kamloops, BC and surrounding area (office: 463 Dene Drive, Kamloops, BC V2H 1J1).

Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime is paid in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act. Pay is $27.00/hour. Successful candidates must speak English. No education or experience is required; 3 months of construction-related experience is considered an asset. Will train the right candidate. Work is outdoors and physically demanding.

Job Description Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

• Load and unload siding, lumber and other construction materials, and move materials to work areas
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding required at construction sites; help set up, move and take down ladders
• Assist carpenters and installers in construction activities
• Operate basic hand and power tools as directed
• Remove rubble, old siding, trim, other exterior materials and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Follow site safety procedures, including fall protection
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed
